Construction of 400kV Ras Madraka Wind Farm Grid Station along with Associated 400kV LILO from Duqm Industrial GS to Al Jazzier GS

The Project Scope shall consist of:
A. Construction of 400kV Ras Madraka Grid Station and all associated works.
- New 400kV Ras Madraka Wind Farm Grid station shall be constructed on turnkey
basis (design, supply, construction, installation, testing and commissioning) near to
Ras Madraka Wind Farm which is being constructed by another Contractor. 400kV
GIS Grid Station shall be constructed under the scope of this tender within the
overall plot identified for 400kV GIS Grid Station at Ras Madraka, which
including 10Nos of 400kV GIS Bays including GIB’s, 2Nos of 400KV,25MVAR
Reactors, 2 Nos of 1000kVA, 11/0.415kV Auxiliary Transformers, Control & Relay
Panels for 400KV Systems, 11KV Switch Gear with 6Nos of bays, Roof Top Solar
Plant on 400KV GIS & Control building and Car parking shed, Station Control System
(SCS) for 400KV System, Telecom System for 400KV System, OLCM & MCMS
system, Integrated Security System, Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting System, EOT cranes
for 400KV GIS rooms etc
B. 400kV OHL Loop In & Loop Out works – Route Length : 2 x 35kms
- The overhead line under the scope of this tender shall connect the new 400kV Grid
Station at Ras Madraka Wind Farm IPP 400kV GS with the existing 400kV
Substations at 400kV Al Jazzier GS by Loop In and Loop out (LILO) arrangement of
existing 400kV OHL DIGS – Al Jazzier GS to New 400kV Substation at Ras Madraka
Wind Farm IPP 400kV Grid station.
C. Remote end Modification works at Duqm Industrial GS and Al Jazzier GS
- Protection Modification works including matching of Main-1 & Main-2 protection
relays at Ras Madraka WF GS with the remote end Grid stations’
- All required SCS modification (at existing GS SCS) shall be carried out incorporating
new protection modifications, new signals etc. in the SCS and LDC.
- All required telecommunication modification shall be carried out incorporating new
protection modifications, new signals etc in the existing telecommunication panel.
